It’s Christmas! What a wonderful time of the year! The celebration of our Savior’s birth brings with it joyful music, holiday decorations, and a season of generosity and thankfulness. If you’ve been keeping up with Energize Ministries throughout 2015, you would have noticed just how much we have to be thankful for. We’ve added new tours, additional staff, broad-reaching radio programs, and even hosted our first-ever pastor’s family cruise. Most importantly, we are witnessing more people and congregations embrace the need to pray and provide care for their pastors and leaders. Even at denominational levels, active pastoral care is becoming a central point of their focus. God is at work in our midst. As He continues to show His great faithfulness, we at Energize are doing our best to follow Him, grow as He leads, and set new goals for the future.
This truly was a breakout year for Energize Ministries. Looking back, we’ve seen the baby steps of years past turn into much longer strides. Looking forward, we’re anticipating a season of unprecedented growth – something about which we’ll be communicating in the very near future. If you are willing, there will be more opportunities than ever for you to serve, and become more actively involved in supporting and being a part of Energize Ministries.
As we approach the end of 2015 and look toward the future, is it possible that God may be asking you to invest in the future of this ministry? Might He be nudging you to invest in the future of our nation’s pastors and leadership?
If the answer to either of those two questions is yes, would you please take just a moment right now to pray and ask God if now is the time He could use you to make a significant difference in the spiritual leadership of this nation? We are counting on God’s provision to help us finish this year in strong fashion from a fiscal standpoint. While we have ambitious plans for next year, we still need to cover a good number of costs related to our events from this past year. Even the smallest gifts help us immensely. In fact, if only 200 of our friends end up making tax-deductible gifts of $100 or more, we will have finished our largest budget year ever with a balanced budget. What a blessing!
Our requests of you are simple. First, please pray and ask God if he would have you partner with us right now. Second, please continue to pray for us –and with us – as we serve those who are so faithfully leading others in service to Christ’s Kingdom. Along with these requests come our sincere gratitude and a hope for you and your family to have a very Merry Christmas.
