The role of a pastor in the life of their congregation is beautiful and also, at times, a thankless job. Our pastors pour into the vitality of our churches day after day. This sort of all encompassing work can leave our leaders neglecting their own needs. But God doesn’t want His servants to burn out. Matthew 11:28 ESV says, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Your pastor needs this rest —physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Energize Ministries is determined to provide incredible rest through programs like the Energize Lodge Retreats, training, and pastor disaster relief. Yet, we need your help. Pray for your pastor today—pray that they experience God’s peace and renewal. And consider partnering with Energize Ministries to help provide the resources pastors need to continue leading God’s people well. Together, we can ensure that the hands that lead us are lifted up in love and support.
