How is my walk with Christ? It’s a question we all need to ask and examine in ourselves. For most of us it is an up and down journey that hopefully is improving with time. Of course, our pastor’s walk is always excellent. The spiritual leader of the church has a superb, healthy faith all the time. Not so! A recent study shows that only 14% of pastors consider their own spiritual condition to be very healthy. Pastors can be so busy with the church and congregation that they can neglect cultivating their own spiritual health. A spiritually weak or vulnerable pastor isn’t as impactful at the helm of God’s church. Encourage your pastor to maintain a vibrant personal faith. Get others in the church, including leadership, to help advance that commitment in your pastor. Growth requires desire, an investment of time, and often accountability outside of the congregation. #BETHEONE who cares about and promotes your pastor’s spiritual walk.
